Happy Thursday everyone! Welcome to this week’s edition of “Tried It Thursday”. I always find things on the internet that I want to try. Sometimes I actually do the project or idea. Often times I wonder if the directions were a lie and if I’m only destined for failure. In this blog I will show you things I found and if they can be done according to the directions. I’m sure I will fail from time to time but I hope to have more successes than failures.
Using the puff paint to trace over the template was super easy. What I didn’t like about making these DIY Christmas Window Clings was how hard it was to peel the snowflake window cling off of the wax paper. It was an incredibly time consuming and tedious process. I spent more time trying not to break the snowflake window cling than I feel like the final product is worth. They look incredible in the window but I did not enjoy peeling these whatsoever. While I classified these as a success I wouldn’t make them again. If you enjoy tedious time consuming art projects than go for it. I on the other hand won’t make these again.
Quick Tip: Just go to the Dollar Store and save yourself some time, these aren’t worth making.
I hope you enjoyed this edition of Tried It Thursday. If you try this DIY Christmas project please leave me a comment and let me know if you were successful.
