I’ve finally marked something off my bucket list… RAINBOW PANCAKES!! I’ve tried several times over the years to make various colored pancakes. They never worked! US Cake Supply invited me to review their Chefmaster Liqua-Gel Paste Cake Color Set.
I used our favorite pancake mix, Krusteaz. I poured about one cup of batter in a measuring cup and added 3 drops of Chefmaster Liqua-Gel Paste Cake Color mixed and poured the batter onto our griddle. I used the super red, sunset orange, lemon yellow, leaf green, royal blue, and violet. Be sure to cook on low heat and flip your pancakes before they brown! If they are browning turn down your heat. Here a picture of my stack of rainbow pancakes. Next time I will probably use 5 drops of the violet. It was a little duller than I wanted. Overall I’m very pleased with my rainbow pancakes.
I’m really happy to have finally mastered the art of rainbow pancakes. That being said I couldn’t have done it without Chefmaster Liqua-Gel Paste Cake Color Set. If you ever want to try to make rainbow pancakes, save yourself the heartache and buy their gel food coloring! I promise you won’t regret it! I’m going to post a blog about how to make Peeps Cupcakes for Easter also using Chefmaster Liqua-Gel Paste Cake Color Set.
