Earlier this week I posted part one of my Fried Chicken At The Kroger Deli review. I showed you what my store was like and what all I brought home. This blog is dedicated to rating the quality of the Deli Fried Chicken at Kroger. Here’s a picture of our meal:

What comes in an 8 piece pack of fried chicken at Kroger? Two wing, two legs, two thighs, and two breasts.

How much does an 8 piece pack of fried chicken at Kroger cost? At my store it was $7.99. The marketing packet says $6.99-$7.99 based on the type of chicken used.

Is Kroger’s deli fried chicken still warm and crunchy by the time you get it home? Yes, it was still warm when I got home. I walked around the store with it for about 30-45 minutes. Because I had to cook the corn I did decide to reheat the chicken in the microwave. Reheating Kroger’s deli fried chicken in the microwave did not compromise the quality or texture of the chicken. It was still crispy and moist when served.

How would you describe Kroger’s deli fried chicken in your own words?  I think Kroger’s deli fried chicken is in between restaurant quality and homemade. Frying chicken at home is not my specialty. I don’t think Kroger’s can compete with KFC’s taste but it’s better than what I can make at home. For the price it’s a steal. If you want to serve a hot meal at home without paying takeout or drive through prices Kroger’s deli fried chicken is right for you.

Would you purchase Kroger’s deli fried chicken in the future? Yes, I would purchase their chicken again. It was nice to let someone else cook for me without having to go broke at KFC.

Would you recommend it to a friend? Already have! :)

About

First and foremost I'm a mother of two girls; circa 2004 and 2011. My interest and passions vary which is why I choice the name Topic Spill. Some topics close to my heart are atheism, alcoholism, religious tolerance, domestic violence and equality (LGBT Rights). I consider myself to be fairly liberal and support causes that promote social fairness for all classes. I'm probably just like many other parents but I also happen to be an atheist. I'm not a hardcore atheist who wants to eradicate religion for the world but I also don't think any religion has a right to impose itself on others. I fully support the freedom of religion that just so happens to also include supporting freedom from religion.
